Dove HS Students Modify Toy Car for Boy with Special Needs

Dove Science Academy students took a 12-volt car and modified it specifically for a boy with special needs.  It allows him to be semi-independent. He makes the car go by pressing on the steering wheel. His parents also have a remote control to also operate the car.

"They were so excited because you are helping someone's life, you are changing someone's life," said teacher Ahmet Unlu.

Unlu's students work on several real, hands on projects, including others that can help people in the community, like prosthetic hands.
